Dobel Fishing Lodge

Dobel Fishing Lodge launches in summer 2026 on a prime stretch of the Kenai River's north bank near King Drive and Big Eddy, just outside Anchorage. The operation centers on the July sockeye run when fish concentrate in nearby beats, though the lodge supports year-round Kenai River fishing for king and silver salmon as well. Three private cabins accommodate up to 22 guests, each with a full kitchen, bathroom, high-speed Wi-Fi, and direct river access for wading or boat launching from the on-site dock. Complimentary fishing gear—rods, reels, and waders—is provided, and guided trips are available. A fish-cleaning station and commercial vacuum freezer are available for an additional fee, making multi-day trips practical for anglers planning to keep their catch. The lodge emphasizes conservation and strict adherence to Alaska Department of Fish and Game regulations.
