My year on the water is dictated by the incredible migrations and feeding patterns of the pelagic species that frequent the waters off San Diego. While we operate year-round, the true excitement kicks off in the spring with the arrival of Bluefin Tuna, often found in the offshore waters and providing thrilling battles. As summer approaches, the Coronado Islands become a hotspot for Yellowtail, offering fantastic opportunities for both local and longer trips. The fall and winter months can still bring excellent action, with opportunities for Yellowtail and other species depending on the conditions and bait availability. Each season presents a unique challenge and reward, from the powerful runs of Bluefin to the aggressive strikes of Yellowtail, ensuring an unforgettable experience for every angler.
