Namushka Lodge sits on Harding Lake, accessible only by floatplane from Yellowknife, and has operated since 1968 as a dual-season destination. The summer season (June–September) capitalizes on the midnight sun and long daylight hours, with anglers fishing from 16-foot Lund boats, a 20-foot pontoon, or kayaks and paddleboards for lake trout, northern pike, and whitefish. A short walk accesses a secluded walleye lake. Winter (March–April) transforms the operation into an aurora lodge where guests ice fish for lake trout and view the northern lights from cabins with skylights. The lodge accommodates up to 14 guests in 6 private sleeping rooms and includes floatplane transfers, boat use with fuel, hot tub, and full kitchen and shower facilities. Fishing gear is available for rent, and guided trips are offered, though food and licenses are guest-provided.
