Nevada City is a well-preserved Gold Rush settlement in Nevada County, California, perched at 2,500 feet in the Sierra Nevada foothills about 60 miles northeast of Sacramento. Unlike resort-based fishing destinations, Nevada City rewards anglers who want to combine solid fishing with a walkable evening and a real dinner.
